The smells of farm types are mainly from three (3) sources: buildings, storage tanks and manure spreading activities. The fertilizing residuals materials (FRM) from various processes are also a source of nuisance during spreading in the fields. In addition to the odor, the various agricultural activities can sometimes cause harmful concentrations of gases such as ammonia.
These emanations are often the cause of major conflicts between producers and their neighborhood. The common objective of everyone is to diminish the environmental damage by harmful elements such as odors and gases.
